Rules

HOW IT'S PLAYED
What You Do: There are 3 rounds of the Major League Baseball playoffs:
1.) Division Series (4 matchups)
2.) League Championship Series (2 matchups)
3.) World Series (1 matchup)

Each entry will choose who they think will win each of the 7 playoff games that comprise the Major League Baseball playoffs.

Entries will also rank each selection based on how confident you are in choosing the winner correctly (same as a typical football confidence pool).

Selections will be made after each round of the MLB Playoffs

If you choose the winner correctly, you will receive the points that you assigned for that game.

Any incorrect pick scores zero points

Example: San Francisco vs Atlanta (Divisional Series): You are extremely confident that Atlanta will win the series, so you choose Atlanta and assign a point value for that game of 20 points. If the Braves win, you receive 20 points towards your overall pool point total. If the Braves lose, you receive 0 points. The other games follow the same format. See "Points Distribution Section" below for how much the point values are for each round

Choose a value for each game based on how confident you are of your selection winning. Below is the breakdown of each round

DIVISIONAL PLAYOFFS:

20 points: Most Confident of the 4 matchups
15 points: 2nd Most Confident
10 points: 3rd Most Confident
5 points: Least Confident of the 4 matchups

LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES:

35 points: Most Confident of the 2 matchups
15 points: Least Confident of the 2 matchups

WORLD SERIES:

50 points: No other option here

IMPORTANT: YOU MUST USE EACH POINT VALUE ONCE IN EACH ROUND AND YOU CANNOT USE THE SAME POINT VALUE TWICE IN THE SAME ROUND.

NOTE: Maximum number of points you can earn in each round is 50 points. In the entire pool, 150 points

Winners:

The entry that accumulates the most points after the World Series is complete will be declared the winner.

If there is a tie, the payout will be split among those entries still tied.
