HOW IT'S PLAYED |
|
| What You Do: |
There are 4 rounds of the National Football League playoffs: 1.) Wildcard Weekend (4 matchups) 2.) Divisional Weekend (4 matchups) 3.) Conference Championships (2 matchups) 3.) Super Bowl (1 matchup) Each entry will choose who they think will win each of the 11 playoff games that comprise the National Football League playoffs. Entries will also rank each selection each round based on how confident you are in choosing the winner correctly (same as a typical football confidence pool). If you choose the winner correctly, you will receive the points that you assigned for that game. Any incorrect pick scores zero points Example: San Diego vs Indianapolis (Wildcard Weekend): You are extremely confident that Indianapolis will win the game, so you choose Indianapolis and assign a point value for that game of 10 points. If the Colts win, you receive 10 points towards your overall pool point total. If the Colts lose, you receive 0 points. The other games follow the same format. See "Points Distribution Section" below for how much the point values are for each round |
| Points Distribution: |
Choose a value for each game based on how confident you are of your selection winning. Rounds 1 and 2 have the same point values, but they increase after that until the Super Bowl. Below is the breakdown of each round WILDCARD WEEKEND: 10 points- Most Confident of the 4 matchups 7 points: 2nd Most Confident 5 points: 3rd Most Confident 3 points: Least Confident of the 4 matchups DIVISIONAL WEEKEND: 10 points- Most Confident of the 4 matchups 7 points: 2nd Most Confident 5 points: 3rd Most Confident 3 points: Least Confident of the 4 matchups CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS: 15 points: Most Confident of the 2 matchups 10 points: Least Confident of the 2 matchups SUPER BOWL: 25 points: No other option here IMPORTANT: YOU MUST USE EACH POINT VALUE ONCE IN EACH ROUND AND YOU CANNOT USE THE SAME POINT VALUE TWICE IN THE SAME ROUND. NOTE: Maximum number of points you can earn in each round is 25 points. In the entire pool, 100 points |
| Winners: |
The entry that accumulates the most points after the Super Bowl is complete will be declared the winner. Tiebreaker: Before the Super Bowl starts, when making your selections, you will need to choose the total number of points scored by both teams in the Super Bowl. The entry that is closest, high or low, wins the tiebreaker and is declared the winner If there is still a tie after the tiebreaker, the payout will be split among those entries still tied. |

SUBMITTING SHEETS |
|
| Multiple Sheets: |
To increase your chances of winning, you may play as many times as you wish. Each entry will be scored separately. If you would like to play a 2nd or 3rd sheet, please contact the league commissioner at info@fantasysportzgames.com at signup. |
| Weekly Picks: |
You have several options in which to submit your picks each week: 1.) Go to our NFL Playoff Pool homepage and enter your picks using the form provided. 2.) Send an email with your pick to info@fantasysportzgames.com If there is another way you would like to submit your picks each week, please let the commish know and he will try to accommodate Picks for all entries will be posted before each round begins |
| Submission Deadline: |
All picks for each round need to be submitted before the first game of the weekend begins, whenever that may be. If a game has started and an entry has not submitted picks, no points will be awarded that entry for that game. Selections for the remaining games in that round may be accepted if they are received before their respective game starts. |
