NFL Elimination Challenge Rules

HOW IT'S PLAYED
What You Do:	Choose one team every week who you think will win their game straight up (No point spreads) You must choose a different team each week. (EX: If you choose Indianapolis in Week 1, you cannot use Indianapolis again the rest of the pool.) Your team must win the game, ties are considered a loss This pool is double elimination with 1 optional buyback option. Here is how it works: If your team wins, you advance to next week If your team loses once, your entry is allowed one incorrect pick and advance to next week If your team loses twice, you can remain eliminated, or you may purchase your one buyback option If you purchase your buyback option and your team loses, you are eliminated from this pool If you choose to use all available options, each entry has 3 chances before they are eliminated from this pool. If a particular pool ends early in the NFL season, we will start a new one, giving adequate time for signups and enough weeks to be able to determine a winner. The league commissioner will let everyone know ahead of time if there will be another pool run in the same NFL season
Buy Back Options:	If you have an entry with 2 incorrect picks, you have 2 options: 1.) You may remain eliminated and your pool is over 2.) You have the option of paying $5 to purchase a buy back option. If you decide to purchase a buy back option, you will continue where you left off and cannot select teams you have already selected. IMPORTANT: You are not obligated to use the buy back option. It is your choice and they are used to keep you in the pool if you have 2 incorrect picks. It also increases the payout amount to the winner, which could be you. If you want to use the buyback option, you must use it immediately. You may not sit out weeks and then purchase buy back options later. If you do not wish to use your buyback option immediately, you cannot reenter the current pool.
What If All Players Chooses A Losing Team In The Same Week?:	Consider this an additional chance for all teams without any penalties. If your team loses and all other entries lose too, you are still alive. However, the teams chosen by each player will be counted and may not be used again. EXAMPLE: Player 1 chooses Arizona Player 2 chooses Buffalo Player 3 chooses Detroit Player 4 chooses Oakland If Arizona, Buffalo, Detroit and Oakland all lose, all 4 teams remain in the pool and try again next week.
Winners:	The last player remaining will be declared the winner. If there is more than one person remaining after the final week of the season, tiebreakers will be decided according to the following tiebreakers: 1.) Teams with no losses 2.) Teams with one loss 3.) Teams using buy back option 1 time The goal for these tiebreakers is to reward people that have the most success from the beginning. Someone who has no losses should have the tiebreaker if they are going head to head with someone using their buy back option, for example.

SUBMITTING SHEETS
Multiple Sheets:	To increase your chances of winning, you may play as many times as you wish. Each entry will be scored separately. If you would like to play a 2^nd or 3^rd sheet, please contact the league commissioner at info@fantasysportzgames.com at signup.
Weekly Picks:	You have several options in which to submit your picks each week 1.) Go to our NFL Elimination Challenge homepage and enter your picks using the form provided. 2.) Send an email with your pick to info@fantasysportzgames.com If there is another way you would like to submit your picks each week, please let the commish know and he will try to accommodate
Submission Deadline:	For weeks where games for the week begin on Thursday, deadline to submit your pick is Thursday at noon EST For weeks where games for the week begin on Saturday or Sunday, deadline is Saturday at noon EST. PICKS POSTED BY COMMISH: Each week, the league commissioner will try and post all entries for that week just after kickoff. This is not a guarantee but an effort will be made. More often than not they will be posted shortly after kickoff.
Late Picks, No Picks or Picking the Same Team:	If for some reason your pick should be late, pick the same team more than once, or not submitted at all, the following will happen: The team will be chosen for you alphabetically by team name according to teams this entry has not already used: 1.) Arizona Cardinals (if your entry has chosen this team already, go to #2) 2.) Atlanta Falcons (if your entry has chosen this team and Arizona already, go to #3) 3.) Baltimore Ravens (if your entry has chosen this team, Arizona and Atlanta already, go to #4) 4.) Buffalo Bills (if your entry has chosen this team, Arizona, Atlanta, and Baltimore already, continue alphabetically until you get to a team that you have not chosen. IMPORTANT: If you fail to make a selection on your own for 3 consecutive weeks, you will be automatically eliminated from this pool, regardless of how well you do. Players need to be active participants and will not be allowed to win by a luck of the alphabetical draw.
